Workshop announcement: Using Generative and Agentic AI for Omics Data Analysis

Are you leveraging the full power of AI in your work? It’s time to take AI out of the browser and put it to work directly in your editor. Join us for our upcoming workshop where we’ll bridge the gap between chatting with AI and letting it actually get to work. We’ll move beyond in-browser prompts for brainstorming and script-writing (Generative AI) and dive into hands-on deployment of in-editor tools (Agentic AI) that can autonomously access, manipulate, and create files,  execute code, and identify and correct errors. Whether you are working with genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or other kinds of data, you'll walk away knowing how to elevate AI from a conversational assistant into a fully integrated, pipeline-running research partner!

This hands-on workshop:

·                     Will be in-person in Wooster and Columbus on July 13 & 14

·                     Costs $150 to attend (lunch included) and is open to anyone at OSU

·                     Is a collaboration between the CFAES Bioinformatics Core and the Department of Plant Pathology
