IDI-GEMS Next-Generation Sequencing and Related Service Notes: 

• IDI-GEMS uses Illumina NextSeq 2000 sequencing instruments.
• Unless otherwise requested, all sequencing runs will utilize P3 Cartridges. Order turn-around time will vary and is dependent on P3 cartridge fill.
• Per-sample prices are calculated based on the number of reads per sample of your project and the respective percentage of cartridge use. See the IDI-GEMS Fee Calculation Guide for an explanation of sequencing fee calculations.
• University policy does not permit billing in advance of the service. IDI-GEMS will bill upon the completion of the service. There are no exceptions.
• Sequencing can be expedited by purchasing an entire cartridge (P1, P2, or P3) for sequencing your samples only.
• The IDI-GEMS team can provide customized services/tests to meet your project needs. Prices for customized services/tests are developed on a case-by-case basis and the full-costing pricing method is used.
